He works on Geoptic, a company developing innovative muon-based imaging technology for tunnels and subsurface environments. His work combines practical engineering insight with advanced simulation, software development, and product thinking. Chris experiences include C++ programming, Geant4-based particle simulation, parallel code optimisation, and computational approaches to modelling complex physical systems. Chris's professional interests cover the lifecycle of scientific instrumentation development and design for engineering applications. Through Geoptic, he contributes to the development of tools that can improve understanding of hidden infrastructure and underground conditions safely and effectively.
