Chris is a leading expert on the development and application of muon imaging to challenging structural diagnostic applications. He co-founded and runs Geoptic, a UK company working with engineers in many sectors including Civil, Defence, and Nuclear. Given Geoptic's impactful work supporting the engineering community, the company was recognised with a King's Award for Innovation in 2025.
