Hideo is a Principal Advisor in the Structures Team at National Highways. He is the technical lead for loading and actions on bridges, Eurocode implementation, and the management of sub-standard structures. He is a member of several BSI standards committees and jointly represents the UK on the European standards committee for traffic loads on bridges,
