Catherine is Founding Director of Useful Studio, an architectural practice with expertise in circular design for bridges, public realm, and buildings. She is currently working with National Highways having won the recent gantry competition, where the team aim to significantly reduce carbon and cost with an elegant, lean solution. She is also leading on low carbon retrofit schemes for heritage commercial and education assets. Catherine is active in education, lecturing and serving as an External Examiner for the University of Westminster. Useful Studio is a B Corp and Social Enterprise operating as a business for good, driving the ESG agenda in operations and delivery.
