The Future of Bridges will provide industry leaders from across the supply chain with the opportunity to explore, connect and learn about a whole range of bridge innovations and design issues, including why bridges fail, how to optimise monitoring and maintenance regimes, structural health monitoring, innovating access, the latest in materials, optimising health and safety, off-site vs. in-situ manufacturing, and driving sustainability and durability.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect and network with key clients, such as Highways England, TfL, Network Rail, district councils, the Welsh Assembly, London Underground and a range of other bridge owners. What projects are in the pipeline? How are clients changing their approaches to procurement and tendering? How can everyone work together to improve the design and construction process? What should we be doing differently to reduce costs, improve health and safety, and minimise the impact on the local economy?
